Strawberry Sponge Cake

Strawberry Sponge Cake

One berry on top for every 2020 Dem candidate. This patriotic cake is slayin with lemon glaze and confectioners' sugar.

Birthday Cake

The classic. Tender vanilla cake with rustic swirls of dark chocolate buttercream. This cake (which I brought to my work's kitchen) received a firm-wide email shoutout from the serious baker in the office praising it.

Chocolate-Chocolate

Fudgy Devil's Food cake, with dark chocolate buttercream.

Coconut Cake

Soft vanilla cake with shaved coconut and coconut oil, cream cheese frosting topped with flaky coconut. Brought this to work and a litigation partner stopped by my office to ask for the recipe. The highest praise I received from him.

Toasted Devil’s Food Cake

Devil’s food cake with a toasted marshmallow frosting. This cake is THE most fun to make, because I get to use a blowtorch to make it look gorge. I made this for the first time just recently for my friend’s birthday, and it was a showstopper.

Strawberry Cake

Layers of fresh strawberry cake with swirls of fluffy vanilla-strawberry frosting, sweet buttercream flourishes, and fresh strawberries. The frosting is made by cooking milk and flour on the stove and sweetening it up later. It takes all day, but #worth. To wit, gays were willing to sacrifice their summer bodies for this last July. Think about that.

Red Velvet

Layers of insanely soft, red (it’s actually cocoa) cake, with a light and buttery whipped vanilla frosting between three layers, resulting in a perfect frosting-to-cake ratio. A humble cake that started decades ago in the South is now a global phenomenon. I hear this cake does car commercials . . . in Japan.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

A spares-no-expense, precision-crafted take on a classic. Put simply: a masc jock top-notch cookie. Order includes 18-20 (large) cookies.

Salted Caramel Brownies

One of the first best things I started seriously baking, and universally praised at holiday gatherings and by friends. Dense, fudgy brownies, with deep swirls of toasty caramel. Topped with flaky sea salt (because every baked good must do that these days). Order includes about 20-24 brownies.

Loaded Cookies

Chocolate chunk cookies, but with a bunch of other shit (coconut, pecans, oats, cinnamon, dried cranberries (upon request)). These are probably my favorite, and everyone—everyone—loves them.
